What materials and technology do you use when creating photographic products?
Digital Print Art offer a wide range of quality made photographic products, we source all our materials from local suppliers and all manufacture is completed in-house, allowing DPA to offer custom sizes to meet all client individual requests.

All Digital Print Art products are dry lab printed on our in-house Epson 11880 wide format aqueous pigment ink printers. Hot and cold mounting and laminating are done using our state of the art Seal 62Pro Laminators.

Photo Canvas - Digital Print Art offer a cotton/polyester blend matte canvas which is acid free and water resistant, and works exceptionally well with the Epson Archival Ultra Chrome K3 inks used to create prints. The K3 ink set is renowned for its outstanding durability, with a lifespan of up to 75 years in colour and over 100 years in black & white.

We also heat set laminate your Canvas Prints at no extra cost to ensure they are protected. Heat set Laminating involves applying a coating heated over the surface to prevent chipping, cracking, marking, mould and fungal attack. Heat set laminating also enhances the colours of your image.

Our canvas frames are of a high quality and are kiln dried, which means they will not shrink, expand or lose shape over time. The frame edges are bevelled (slightly cut away from the side that faces the canvas), to prevent markings or impressions from occurring.
What is a Canvas Gallery Wrap?
A gallery wrap is when the photo is printed around the edges of the frame to give it the appearance of depth when hanging on a wall. You need to remember to leave a little space around the main subject to fit a gallery wrap in.
What other Canvas wrap option do you offer?
Blur wrap – Select this option if you don’t want your image to wrap around but still want it to look like it continues around the edges. We create a blurred extension of the front image to wrap around the sides.

Mirror wrap – A good option to select for scenery or landscape images. We create a mirrored extension of the front image to wrap around the sides.
How is the canvas mounted?
The canvas is professionally stretched onto quality kiln dried bars then finished on the back with tape to hide exposed staples. Felt wall protectors are also applied. D-rings and plastic coated wire are used for hanging. A care label is applied with instructions on how to look after your finished canvas product.
How long will a canvas last?
We print your pictures with the latest in large format digital printers. The use of cotton/blend, water-resistant canvas with an acid free digital coating and pigment inks allow your canvas to be fade free for well over 100 years. For even more piece of mind, we coat your printed canvas with a heat set laminate that utilizes Ultra Violet inhibitors. This also allows you to be able to clean your canvas without fear of damage to your print.

The quality of our Canvas Prints is second-to-none and all of our work is completed in house so we know your product is being constructed with some of the finest quality materials available on the market.
